The midwives are available for antenatal clinics on Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday mornings.
Contraceptive care is provided by all doctors and nurses during surgery hours.

This is run by practice nurses trained in asthma management. Monitoring of asthma drugs is carried out as well as inhalation techniques and peak flow readings. Please make an appointment through the receptionist.
This is run by practice nurses trained in diabetic management. In the clinic, routine blood, urine and blood pressure tests are undertaken and diet and lifestyle advice given. Please make an appointment through the receptionist.
The practice nurses provide dressings clinics, each afternoon, Monday – Friday. Please make an appointment through the receptionist.
The community nurses provide this service. Appointments are made by referral only the community nurses can be contacted by telephoning 01752 314852.
Patients on medication for raised blood pressure (hypertension) see the health care assistant and doctor (on an alternate basis) every six months, once the medication is controlling the blood pressure. Please make your appointment through the receptionist.

This clinc is run by the practice nurses and includes advice on diet, exercise, smoking, etc. Blood pressure is checked. Please make an appointment through the receptionist.
The doctors and practice nurses see patients on an alternate basis very six months for a blood pressure check.
Dr Hobbs, Dr Ross, Dr Brockmann, Dr Harrison and Dr Bath carry out a host of procedures at the health centre by appointment.
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals e.g. insurance and driving licence, by appointment. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. There is a charge for these services.

This is run by our practice nurses. It is advisable to make an appointment at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations that are not covered by the NHS. Please make an appointment through the receptionist. All the recommended vaccines are given from two months of age until school leaving age. (The first vaccination is given at the eight-week baby check).
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients described as ‘at risk’ by the Department of Health (please ask our receptionist for details) and residents of nursing and residential homes. This vaccination is also recommended for all patients aged 65 years and over. From September each year details of vaccination dates and appointments can be obtained from reception staff.
This is available all the year round for patients with chronic breathing and heart problems, those who have had splenectomies and other at-risk patients. This vaccination is also recommended for all patients aged 65 years and over.
